We thought of doing something similar to this for GasLimit but found the tool on the AAA site and figured it would be easier to just give out the link - Basically, you put in your start location, end location and vehicle and it estimates how much you will spend on gasoline to get there. Yet another article on rising gasoline prices and their impact to the average consumer. There is a direct correlation between rising gasoline prices and consumer spending and people are reacting to that dilemma by thinking about buying smaller vehicles. The consumer is clearly concerned, especially due to the fine line we are walking between the limited supply and scary geopolitical picture.

My buddy sent me a link to this igoogle gadget that allows you to locate the cheapest gas stations in your area. Granted the GasLimit concept is meant to help you manage gasoline costs, but it cant hurt to buy at the cheapest gas stations. Remember, the GasLimit cap product is tested against the average surveyed gas price for your location - so buying cheaper gasoline will still help you bring your cost down.

A friend of mine set me this link from “How Stuff Works” on gasoline prices. We thought our customers and readers might find it both helpful and interesting. Based on this article, 178 Million Gallons per day for the US - thats a lot of gasoline!!!!
